Megan grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She joined Oxner + Permar in 2010 and is a North Carolina board certified workers’ compensation specialist. Through her desire to help others, Megan chose to go to law school to be an advocate for people who needed someone to fight for them. Her undergraduate degree in sociology from North Carolina State University helped her develop the ability to understand and connect with people. She graduated with honors from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While at Campbell Megan participated in Moot Court and Trial competitions. Her extensive career experience includes serving as a public defender, insurance defense, and litigating personal injury cases throughout the state.
Outside of work Megan enjoys serving in her community. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Megan has served on the Board of the Guilford Center, which is the local management entity in Guilford County for mental health and substance abuse. She is involved with the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Junior League of Greensboro. Megan also enjoys CrossFit.
