Megan Callahan is a North Carolina board certified workers’ compensation specialist. She has always been driven by her desire to help others. Through this desire, Megan chose to go to law school to be an advocate for people who needed someone to fight for them. Her undergraduate degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University helped her develop the ability to understand and connect with people. She received her Juris Doctor degree with honors from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While at Campbell, Megan was the recipient of multiple Book Awards, given for top academic performance, and she participated in Moot Court and Trial competitions. Her varied career experience includes serving as a public defender, insurance defense and litigating personal injury cases throughout the state.
She joined Oxner + Permar in 2010 and handles workers compensation cases. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Megan has served on the Board of the Guilford Center, which is the local management entity in Guilford County for mental health and substance abuse. She is also involved with the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Junior League of Greensboro.
