Kristin P. Henriksen represents clients in workers’ compensation cases in North and South Carolina. Kristin was raised in Belmont, North Carolina and attended college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she studied Political Science. She went to law school at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and was involved with the Campbell Law Observer and Delta Theta Phi legal service fraternity.
As a native of the Charlotte area, Kristin returned to Charlotte to practice law and joined a well-respected insurance defense firm where she represented the interests of employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims and gained valuable experience.
Thereafter, Kristin followed her desire to help others and joined Oxner + Permar in 2009, representing the interests of injured workers. Kristin is a Board Certified Specialist in North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Law. She has appeared often at the Industrial Commission and also represented clients at the Court of Appeals. Kristin has served as an instructor of continuing legal education seminars on various topics of workers’ compensation law. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, South Carolina Advocates for Justice, South Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
Kristin lives in Belmont with her husband and son.
