Jeff joined Oxner + Permar, pllc in 2019 to continue representing injured workers in North Carolina. Jeff has practiced workers’ compensation law in Greensboro for many years at two well-regarded firms in the area. He was born and raised in Xenia, OH. Prior to going to law school, Jeff worked in data analysis, marketing, and IT. During and after law school, he served as a teacher’s assistant and an adjunct professor at NC State.
Jeff has a Bachelor of Science with a Business major from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He attended law school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 2009. He has been admitted to all three federal districts in NC, as well as the state of NC. Jeff is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for attorneys that have received settlements in excess of
$1,000,000. He is also a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Workers’ Compensation section.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife of almost 18 years, and his two children Anna and James. He loves coaching his kids’ sports teams, running, and traveling. He is also involved at his church, Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro. Jeff has also served as a statistician for the Duke women’s basketball team for the past 16 years, and the Cancun Challenge basketball tournaments. He
has also done stats for Duke football, Duke men’s basketball, as well as freelance work for CBS and MASN.
