Elizabeth Hinds graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Al., where she practiced as a personal injury litigator until she returned home to Greensboro, N.C. in 1998. Over the past two decades, Elizabeth has focused on civil litigation in both personal injury and wrongful death, and she represents the fourth generation of trial lawyers in her family.
Elizabeth is also a graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College at Thunderhead Ranch in DuBois, Wyoming, an intensive three week trial advocacy program offered to attorneys and judges by invitation only. The Trial Lawyer’s College was founded in 1994 by the legendary trial lawyer Gerry Spence, widely recognized as one of the greatest trial lawyers of all time, who had a vision and a desire to share his experiences and methods developed over several decades with lawyers dedicated to representing people who need an effective voice in the legal system and dedicated to obtaining justice for their clients.
Elizabeth has received an ‘AV Preeminent’ Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the legal industry’s leading and most respected rating organization which l has been conducting peer-review ratings for over a century to identify and recognize lawyers with the highest legal ability and ethical standards. Elizabeth is a member of North Carolina State Bar, 18th Judicial District Bar Association, and a Master in the Guilford American Inn of Court. Elizabeth is also a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America, the Junior Dogwood Garden Club, and First Presbyterian Church.
