Benita has been with Oxner + Permar for over six years and enjoys the friendly office environment. She has a bachelors degree from Appalachian State University, Boone NC (Go APP!).
Outside of work she enjoys playing softball, watching sports and spending time with friends.
Amie enjoys being a paralegal and helping clients through an extremely difficult and frustrating time. She has spent multiple years working as a workers’ compensation paralegal at both a defense firm and plaintiff’s firms. Her knowledge of both sides of the law allows her to better explain to clients the specifics of the process.
Outside of work, Amie enjoys spending time with her fiance and their blended family of 7 children, 3 dogs and a cat.
Emily was born and raised in Connecticut. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Elon University in 2015. Emily earned her Masters of Social Work from Columbia University in 2017. She graduates from Elon University in December 2019 with her Juris Doctor. Emily is also the Chief of Elon Law Review.
Outside of work, she loves going on long walks with her husband and dog Wrigley. She is a huge Chicago Cubs fan and enjoys watching documentaries and reading.
Marna is the afternoon receptionist and loves greeting clients as they visit the firm. She also enjoys working with the attorneys and paralegals to coordinate meetings with clients.
Marna’s professional background includes 25 years of Sales and Sales Management. As a Sales Manager, she increased company sales by 24% within the first year. She is originally from Missouri and moved to Greensboro in 1995 for a Sales Management position.
Outside of work, Marna enjoys spending time with her husband, singing and cooking.
